GWR Announce Customer Communities Improvement Fund

On Friday (30th June) GWR announced that they were entering into Year 3 of their Customer Communities Improvement Fund (CCIF) and have £750,000 to award in grants. They are looking for projects that will start in April 2018 and conclude by March 2019.

Anne Marie Reelected as MP for Newton Abbot

Anne Marie won re-election early on Friday morning after increasing her majority from 11,288 to 17,160. Overall she won 28,635 votes, an increase of 8.2% on 2015.

Good Transport Really Matters!

One of the biggest concerns people talk to me about is transport. In a rural area like ours we need a good train service, good road connections and a reliable bus service. But we also need motorist friendly policies as despite all of that, we are very dependent on our cars.
