Over 1,200 Teignbridge residents have signed a petition organised by local Conservative Future members against the 10 per cent increase in cider duty announced in the recent budget.

Anne Marie Morris, Prospective Conservative MP for Newton Abbot, has launched her ‘Expenses Promise’.

Newton Abbot Conservatives were out in force at the weekend, collecting signatures for their petition for fairer funding of local fire services.

Newton Abbot Conservatives will be holding a Cake Sale in aid of Purple Day on Friday 26th March, from 10am – 12.30pm at Highweek Village Hall.
Members and supporters will be donating cakes for sale and tea and coffee will also be served.

Up to 16,500 Teignbridge households could be affected.
