Newton Abbot Conservatives Cake Bake in aid of Purple Day
15th March 2010
Newton Abbot Conservatives will be holding a Cake Sale in aid of Purple Day on Friday 26th March, from 10am – 12.30pm at Highweek Village Hall.
Members and supporters will be donating cakes for sale and tea and coffee will also be served.
The event is being organised by local Conservative Future members Charlotte Markey and Phil Coombes.
Charlotte said: “We saw this as a great opportunity to raise awareness of epilepsy in the community and would like to invite everyone to come along and help us do just that.”
Purple Day was founded in Canada by nine-year-old Cassidy Megan to raise awareness of epilepsy. For more information and background, see www.purpleday.org.
