Action promised on police call centre

Anne Marie Morris has promised to discuss the responsiveness of the police call centre in Exeter with Devon and Cornwall Police Authority.
She was attending a Partners and Community Together meeting in Newton Abbot when the issue was brought to her attention.
Anne Marie said: “The majority of the feedback at the PACT meeting was good, yet many local residents feel that the central call centre in Exeter has an issue when it comes to answering and returning calls. This is of great concern.
“I will bring it up with the Police Authority. I am currently distributing survey about crime in our community and will publish the results in due course."
